James Cheshire is Principal Investigator of the project Development Frontiers in Crime, Livelihoods and Urban Poverty in Nigeria (FCLP).

James is Associate Professor in Quantitative Geography at the University College London (UCL)’s Department of Geography. His work examines the use and visualisation of “big” and open datasets, with a particular focus on population data.
