New report by Jam and Justice explores how we can govern cities differently

The ESRC-funded project Jam and Justice: Co-Producing Urban Governance for Social Innovation is now close to completion, and alongside a series of collaborative events the team has now released its findings in a major report.

How Can We Govern Cities Differently?: The Promises and Practices of Co-Production is now available to download and explores some of the key insights that has come out of the project’s research with communities. In particular, the publication explores how three of the most pressing challenges facing urban societies – democracy, justice and knowledge – can be effectively addressed through a participatory approach that engages citizens, civil society and other groups.

More information on the project can be found on the Jam and Justice website.
