Policy and Programme Manager (Informal Cities) at COMPAS
COMPAS invites applications for a Policy and Programme Manager position to work on the Oxford Martin Programme on Informal Cities, to be based at the Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS) at the University of Oxford. This is a 2-year fixed-term position (with the possibility of extending for an additional 9 months subject to the availability of external funding). More information about the role is available here.
The Policy and Programme Manager will be a member of a multidisciplinary research group with responsibility for coordinating activities among researchers working on urban development. They will also plan and coordinate the development of international policy fora and research events and identify additional collaborative opportunities.
The successful candidate will be a policy manager with experience in academia and the international development field. They will have good subject knowledge, preferably of sustainable cities, and excellent communication skills, in particular in editing and writing for policy audiences. They will also have significant experience in stakeholder engagement.
