Forthcoming photo exhibition on ‘Migration and the city’

The Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS), University of Oxford, is now welcoming applications for a forthcoming exhibition themed around ‘Migration and the City’. The organisers are looking for photos and illustrations exploring the contemporary and historical tradition of cities being places receiving those on the move. Images can be anything from a symbolic illustration of urban migration, to a personal depiction of individuals interacting with a new home.

Winning entries will be of high quality, good composition and contain strong imagery.

Prizes: £250 and £100 will be awarded for the winning entries and twelve runners-up will be awarded £50 each. The winning entries and runners up will be used in COMPAS academic and promotional material and may appear in special exhibitions.

The closing date/time for entries is 5pm GMT, Friday 4 October 2019.
