Consuming Urban Poverty’s 16 November event on food security in African cities
The Africa Research Institute is hosting a book launch on 16 November, 12.30 – 2.30 pm, in London for two major publications, “Urban food systems governance and poverty in African cities” and “Tomatoes & taxi ranks: running our cities to fill the food gap”. Both books, built on research by the ESRC-funded Consuming Urban Poverty (Governing Food Systems to Alleviate Poverty in Secondary Cities in Africa) project.
The event will include presentations by team members Jane Battersby, Stephen Agong and Vanessa Watson. More details on the event and how to register can be found here.
