Barbara Bompani is Principal Investigator of the project Security at the Margins (SeaM): Spaces and Strategies for Negotiating Security in Urban South Africa.
Barbara is Director of the Centre of African Studies, University of Edinburgh. Her work focuses on South Africa and the intersection of religion in the country’s social and political life.
