Cathy McIlwaine is PI of the project Healthy, Secure and Gender Just Cities: Transnational Perspectives on Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) in Rio de Janeiro and London.
Cathy is Professor of Development Geography at King’s College London. Her work explores the intersections between gender, poverty and transnational migration, with a particular focus on Latin America.
