PhD Bursary on securitisation in urban policy making, De Montfort University – deadline 1 July

De Montfort University is advertising a fully funded PhD opportunity to research on securitisation in urban policy making.
The bursary focuses on the impact of security policy on subnational levels of government and the implications for urban governance, including but not limited to power relations and everyday practice in the interface of community and local government actors. Proposals with a focus on countries in Europe or the Americas will be preferred, but proposals conducting research in other world regions will be considered.
